British Exploring Society is a youth development charity that organises challenging scientific adventures for young explorers between 18 and 25 years of age. The society has traditionally run extreme Arctic expeditions and has recently been very impressed with the performance of their Safir 9 cp in Svalbard – so much so that they have ordered a second! Nick Baker
Nick Baker is a naturalist with an obsession (his word not ours) for wildlife. He has travelled to the four corners of the globe filming some of the planet’s most unusual and dangerous creatures. Nick has recently joined the world of Tentipi®, taking delivery of Safir Light 7 and Inner Tent Pro. He plans to take them on his expeditions around the world filming his next series of Weird Creatures.

Ray Mears uses and recommends Tentipi® tents, see Each year Tentipi lends equipment to Woodlore for their Arctic Course in Lappesuando, north Sweden. In 2009 the courses are from 7 to 23 February and Tentipi will provide two Safir 7 cp with Eldfell stoves and two Safir 9 cp with VDK stoves.
